The Dispensary Inventory Manager reports directly to the Dispensary General Manager and is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all cannabis and non-cannabis inventory regarding all Client policy and procedures and to ensure compliance with all MA state and local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Inventory
Inventory management and compliance with CCC regulations.
Receive deliveries & product from wholesale vendors and internal transfers.
Inspect product for compliance and prepare for retail sale.
Responsible for the oversight of vault/inventory team, scheduling and direct communication with dispensary General Manager, Operations Manager, Marketing/Wholesale Directors, and Retail Compliance officer.
Reports directly to dispensary General Manager.
Manage product allocation (open, midday, close) when on shift.
Communicate with internal Wholesale Director to receive invoices, test results, and necessary information to prep for a delivery.
Check test results for accuracy in METRC (state seed to sale tracking software) transfers.
Add inventory in METRC and Leaf Logix (Point of Sale software).
Research incoming items for online menu descriptions based on Client specific format,
Responsible for calculating flower conversions for all incoming products (we will provide the mathematical formula).
Secure storage of product and organization/cleanliness of the vault.
Conduct inventory audits, locate, research and solve variances.
Resolve Leaf Logix and METRC integration errors.
Track and maintain daily, monthly, yearly Inventory Counts.
Quality control of inventory.
Maintain compliance of vault and inventory.
Create and maintain Bud Jar displays.
Maintaining waste and proper disposal.
Reporting inventory levels to Chief Marketing Officer and Wholesale Director.

Management
Developing team member potential through instruction, demonstration, observing, and providing feedback.
Upholding all NR policies and procedures.
Participating in weekly manager meetings.
Responsible for leading, managing, and coaching vault staff.
Assisting in performance reviews and hiring.
Communicating with General Manager and Assistant General Manager about vault needs and employee performance.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
College degree preferred but HS Diploma and equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
3-5 years’ experience required, in retail, inventory, supply logistics management or comparable industry
Experience in inventory management preferred.
Experience scheduling and managing in a team environment.
Documented problem-solving skills & above average mathematical skills required.
Above average verbal and written communication skills required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
