For many years, the medical cannabis field focused on better understanding the “major cannabinoids—THC and CBD. While researchers continue to reveal important insights of the therapeutic potential of these compounds, recent interest has shifted to the “minor” cannabinoids.

These compounds, while less abundant in cannabis, hold medicinal properties in their own right that we’ve just begun to learn about. This course will cover three of the up and coming minor phytocannabinoids—CBG, CBN, and CBC—and educate you on their therapeutic effects.

Phytocannabinoid specialists are formulators, practitioners, researchers, and professionals with the knowledge to design and implement custom programs for patients, custom formulations, or other applications of phytocannabinoid medicine.

The Phytocannabinoid Chemisty amd Cannabinoid Isolation Specialist  credential will make you a recognized expert of phytocannabinoids. Earning this certification demonstrates advanced skill and professional distinction.

his curriculum includes:

  • 2 hour Course
  • 4 session credits (*2 Required panel sessions)
  • Video Proctored exam: 25 multiple choice questions
  • 8 CEUs per year for renewal (CEUs for CBDIA’s Phytocannabinoid Specialist)
Technical Requirements: Renewal courses must be designated by the CBD Industry Association. Certification prospects have two opportunities to pass their exams, after which they must retake the required course. *Session credit requirements must be fulfilled at CBD Expo Conferences.
