Pismo Beach, CA, April 29, 2020 – The CBD Industry Association announced today they have launched five new regional chapters across the United States. The new chapter regions will be West, Southwest, Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast respectively. Launching the Regional Chapters helps expand the reach and gives the CBDIA a solid national presence. CBDIA was first established in late 2019 and has continued to grow exponentially as it continues to serve as a collective representation of Cannabinoid and CBD Professionals.

“At this time, it is extremely important that we as an industry continue to work together. Our regional directors and additional chapters will offer a greater sense of community, educational resources, and solidarity within the industry as we continue to work with local, state, and federal representatives to lobby for the industry as a whole. We want to support business and CBD professionals to stay ahead of the curve and remain competitive in this landscape of ever-changing rules and regulations.” said CBDIA Executive Director Graciela Moreno.

The opening of the regional chapters reflects the Association’s mission to provide guideposts that address the gaping holes in industry standards, education and networking. With individual states rolling out Hemp and CBD Rules & Regulations, it is of the utmost importance for industry leaders and members to stay up to date and the regional Chapters will act as a valuable resource.

Membership in CBDIA for individuals is $685 per year and for small corporations/startups with 1 -5 employees, $3,125 per year. Member benefits include access to: information and insights about the CBD Industry, leading experts in the industry, professional development workshops, networking opportunities and discounted rates on Cannabinoid Medicine Studies courses, expos and functions. Students pursuing careers in cannabis can join the chapter and leverage opportunities for mentorship and career development.
